About Dr. Johnson

Dr. Johnson is a 1990
graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency
in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Brooke Army Medical
Center, followed by a fellowship in Head & Neck Oncologic
& Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at the University of
Iowa.

During Medical school,
residency and fellowship, Dr. Johnson received many awards for
clinical and academic excellence and research. His most cherished
was selection by his medical school classmates for the Physicians
Physician Award.
Dr. Johnson has been
widely published in the medical literature and has lectured to
medical audiences in Europe, Asia and throughout North America.
Drawing on his extensive
experience in ear, nose and throat surgery, head and neck cancer
surgery and facial plastic surgery, Dr. Johnson has developed
a national reputation as a facial reconstructive surgeon. His
patients range in age from 10 weeks old to 90 years old and have
come from places as remote as Samoa and Japan.
Dr. Johnson is Board
Certified by both the American Board of Otolaryngology (ear, nose
and throat) and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the
American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, the
American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
and the American Head and Neck Society. He has clinical privileges
at all Savannah area hospitals.
